Let’s Help As Much as We Can: Yul Edochie Pleads As Actor Emeka Ani Battles With Diabetes, Stroke, Cataract

Veteran Nollywood actor Prince Emeka Ani has revealed that he is battling diabetes, stroke, and cataract. A video of the actor pleading with Nigerians to help him was shared by Yul Edochie.

In the video, the veteran actor revealed that he has been sick since December 2020, adding that he visited the hospital for treatment and surgery was carried out.

However, due to the nature of diabetes he has, the sore has refused to heal. His health is now getting worse as he also battled with partial stroke and there is a growth in his eyes that may lead to blindness if it is not treated as soon as possible.

"I have been sick since December 7, 2020. I was taken to the hospital for m*dication and surgery took place around my bu*ttocks but because of the nature of the diabetes I have in my system, the sore refused to get healed. Since then, I have been battling with my life. Along the line, I had partial stroke. At the same time, I'm having dim in my eyes. If you look closely, you will see a growth in my eyes. That is cataract which means if proper care is not taken, it might lead to blindness."

In other news, movie producer Kemi Adetiba celebrated Nse Ikpe-Etim on her birthday with a story of how the actress fell ill out of nervousness on her first day on set.

The filmmaker then wrote her a reassuring hand-written note and Nse apologised, stating that she had no idea why she was so nervous over something she did for a living.

Adetiba then gave her great reasons why she was nervous with the peak being that she cared about the project.
