Popular Nigerian actor, Victor Osuagwu, has reacted with dismay to a trending video of pastors flogging their church members.
In the clip making the rounds and also shared on the film star’s page, some church members, both male and female, were seen dressed in suits and lying down on the ground with their backsides facing up.
Also in the video, a man who appeared to be the head pastor held the microphone as well as a belt.
He noted that the church members were going to be flogged to test whether they were ready for the ministry.

Shortly after that, the preacher alongside other assistant pastors proceeded to give the church members serious lashes of the belt on their backside.

The veteran actor who shared the clip on his page also accompanied it with a caption explaining his thoughts.
According to him, God is merciful. Not stopping there, he also noted that some pastors are agents of the devil.
The comic actor then joked that perhaps one person’s backside was what caused the display.
In his words:

Popular Nollywood comic actor, Victor Osuagwu, earlier celebrated his second son, David, as he graduated from the university.
Victor shared a lovely father and son moment at the graduation ground on his verified Instagram page as he showered blessings on the young man.
