Famous South African rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, was assassinated by assailants on February 10, 2023, but the public is yet to know the people and the motivations behind the dastardly act.

The fans and well-wishers of the late music sensation are displeased with the fact that despite the scene being captured by a surveillance camera, the authorities have yet to give graspable progress on the case.

Internet users mourned AKA on the anniversary of his passing. South African police recently made public the progress that they have made with the case.

SA Police discuss AKA murder suspects

According to eNCA, the police have asserted that suspects in the murder cases of AKA and Tibz have already been arrested for other crimes. The SAPS national spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, also announced that they had uncovered compelling evidence linking the identified suspects to the crime.

She elaborated that while not all suspects in AKA's murder are in custody, some are currently evading capture. The spokesperson emphasised that efforts are underway to track down those who are still at large.

Fans remember AKA one year after death
