“Beyonce Sef Steal From You”: Fans Drag Blackface for Accusing Burna Boy of Stealing Song

  • Blackface has made it known that singer Burna Boy stole his melody to make some of his music
  • While on the Honest Bunch Podcast with Nedu Wazobia, Blackface was asked why all top singers in Nigeria steal from him
  • In his response, he said that most music artistes have been twisting and turning the melody of his songs to make their own music

Veteran singer, Ahmedu Obiabo also known as Blackface, seemed not done accusing some Nigerian singers of copyright infringement.

The music act, who was a guest on the Honest Bunch Podcast, allegedly accused Burnaboy of stealing his melody.

Nedu had asked him why most notable Nigerian singers like Davido, Wizkid, and Burnaboy were in the news for allegedly stealing his songs.

The defunct Plantashun Boiz member stated that most of those who had taken from his lyrical prowess use twist and turn to steal his melody.

He claimed 'Ginger', a song by Wzikd and Burnboy, was a copy of his song, Twist and Turn.

He further compared the song's melody to his and claimed it was stolen.

Blackface further alleged that some people can kill others because of music.

Blackface accuses Asake of stealing his song

In a previous report by Legit.ng, Blackface also claimed 'Joha', a song by Asake, was from his music.

During an interview with Naija FM, Blackface alleged'Joha' was taken from his song, 'Ikebe Super'.

He had to sing the two songs and compare his version to Asake's. He also added that Asake got his inspiration from him.
