Asoebi styles with tulles and appliques
Nigerian fashionistas have gone through quite a number of trends and even though the corset style appears to have lasted the longest, there are some new looks that fashionistas have since jumped on.
Corset trend has been one of the hottest fashion looks of the season and interestingly, it has been around for quite some time now. These days, there's no owambe that takes place that doesn't witness belles showing off their curves in the cinched look.
If you fall in the category of people who are tired of the same old style and would love to move on to the next stylish thing, then you're in luck.
Well, you can get that fabulous look by adding the right applique as well as the right amount of tulle to your asoebi fabric.
AMAA fashion
The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) ceremony recently went down and it was indeed a celebration of African talents and fashion!
As is the case with every red carpet event, movie stars showed up at the popular Marriot Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday, November 28, for the highly-anticipated 2021 edition of AMAA.
It appears not so many Nigerian celebrities attended the event - at least not many of them shared photos. With the few that did, however, it looks like two Nollywood stars were the fashion stars of the night.
Even though they lost the award for the Best Actress which was snagged by Uganda actress, Joana Agaba, Rita Dominic and Funke Akindele were undoubtedly sights to behold.
