Journalist reacts to Mercy Aigbe's burnt house

In a chat with Legit.ng, a journalist Justice Okamgba shared his take on netizens who aare bashing Mercy Aigbe.

People who are mocking Mercy on social media are simply being ignorant. There’s no such thing as karma working against her. She didn’t get married on her own; her husband chose to marry her. Both are adults who share common interests and made the decision to get married."

Justice Okamgba also spoke about the actress' burnt house.

Her house burning down is just an unfortunate event with no connection to her being a second wife. She didn’t 'steal' anyone’s husband. It's time for Nigerian women to stop focusing so much on a man marrying a second wife. We’ve been pretending that monogamy works perfectly, but it doesn’t always. If you’re a woman who feels like having a second husband, go for it. There are men who would be more than willing to accept that."
