Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been arrested by the Manhyia Divisional Police Command over his involvement in an accident that claimed the life of a three-year-old.
The arrest occurred shortly after his discharge from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on the morning of June 3, 2024. The acclaimed actor and comedian found himself at the centre of a tragic incident that led to the untimely death of a three-year-old child.
He was involved in a ghastly accident on May 25, 2024, in Kumasi. The accident occurred at Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. According to reports, the actor was travelling with two others when his Mercedes Benz C43, branded "A Country Called Ghana," collided head-on with another vehicle.
In the video of his arrest, the actor can be seen being put in a police vehicle from a wheelchair. Subsequently, when they arrive at the station, the actor can be seen being helped by the police to the station as he limps.

Legit.ng reported that a presenter questioned Lil Win about his decision to fly in Nollywood actors for his much-acclaimed film, A Country Called Ghana.
The actor, who is known for his explosive takes, shared a response that resonated with scores of his fans.
According to him, he was trying to spice things up for a change.
He also noted that he once used Alist actors in Ghana for a movie, but the film didn't live up to expectations.
