Photos captured from the outskirts of the property reveal staff members carrying floral arrangements towards the estate amidst a noticeable boost in security measures for the occasion.
This marks Murdoch’s fifth marriage, his previous union with Jerry Hall having spanned from 2016 until 2022.
Zhukova, mother to Dasha Zhukova, a well-known Russian socialite and ex-wife of Roman Abramovich, the former owner of Chelsea FC, has a storied background.
She was previously married to Alexander Zhukov, a wealthy energy investor. She is a molecular biologist who focuses on diabetes research.
Zhukova moved to the United States from Russia with her daughter in 1991. She has since retired from her position at UCLA’s medical research unit.
It is reported that Murdoch’s third wife, Wendi Deng, facilitated his acquaintance with Zhukova, and the two have maintained a close friendship in New York.
