During the ceremony, Dr. Dre’s star was permanently embedded into the ground, surrounded by a crowd of celebrities.

According to TMZ, notable figures from the rap world, such as Big Boy, Jimmy Iovine, 50 Cent, and Kurupt, also paid their respects to the Doc.

Many of them expressed their admiration for Dr. Dre’s contributions. His talent scouting abilities have launched the careers of numerous veterans in the game, and his influence spans decades.

In addition to his production work, Dr. Dre is a highly decorated artist. He has been nominated for Grammy Awards countless times, securing seven wins.

With humour, Snoop acknowledged their enduring partnership:

“Over 30 years later, we’re still grinding in the studio, and you still make me do every line 100 motherf–king times. I thank you for being a perfectionist and always pushing me to be great. You bring out the best in the Dogg.”
