"Where's the spice? Nigerian jollof is better. Nigerian jollof over Ghanaian jollof. Don't play," he said.
He then went ahead to shower praises on a Nigerian Chef who broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours in 2023, Hilda Baci. He stated that Ghanaian chefs need tutorials from Hilda to improve the quality of their jollof rice.

In a chat with Legit.ng, Bukola Edah said the kind of rice used in making Ghana Jollof makes it different from Nigeria Jollof
She said:
"I think there is nothing so special about the two. It is the kind of rice used by Ghanaians to make their jollof rice that makes it different. The method of cooking is also different as well. We use both long and small-grain rice to make ours. We also add perfume rice to it as well."
