When did Nelly and Ashanti rekindle love?
The two lovebirds are proof that maybe if it did not work out the first time, the second time might be the charm.
The two confirmed that they had rekindled their romance nearly a decade after calling it quits in September.
Nelly revealed that the time they spent apart, made them understand each other better.
"I think we both were pretty much doing what we do, but sometimes being separate you understand one another more. You be like, 'Yo, let me see exactly what they see.' You know, because we all can be defensive sometimes in our own relationships. We know we wrong but we going to stand on it. But we all a victim to that."
Are Nelly and Ashanti expecting?
The two lovers are reportedly expecting their first child together, and they are elated about it.
US Weekly reported that Nelly and Ashanti are welcoming their first baby together.
The rumours started swirling when the Foolish singer and the Ride Wit Me singer were at a function, and they both carressed Ahanti's stomach.
This would be Ashanti's first child with Nelly. The rapper, however, he has two grown children, Chanelle and Cornell Haynes III, from his previous relationship with ex Channetta Valentine.

Fast-growing international Afrobeat singer Divine Okubor, better known as Rema, trended online after a clip of him with veteran American pop star Ashanti went viral.
In the clip, Asanti was seen sharing a selfie with the Nigerian after he was done performing at a show in Los Angeles.
What stirred the attention of many the most was when Ashanti called Rema 'baby' after the Nigerian singer had complimented the veteran.
