Ghanaian singer Sista Afia, born Francisca Gawugah, has waded into the Ghana-Nigeria Jollof debate after Nigerian chef Hilda Baci sparked controversy about the best version.
It comes after Hilda Baci claimed that, having tasted Ghanaian Jollof, it lacked the flavour and quality of Nigerian Jollof.

The singer asked if the former Guinness World Record holder for marathon cooking was serious about her remarks.
"Girl, I love and admire your work from afar, but Ghana Jollof has no flavour. Are you serious? Cmon now, who cooked it for u?" Sista Afia posted on X (Twitter) on Friday, November 24.

How Hilda Baci stormed Guinness World Records Headquarters
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Hilda Baci visited the Guinness World Records international headquarters in London, the United Kingdom.
Staff members at the world record body were excited to see her, and they all gave her a warm reception.
Hilda shared a video capturing her on her way to the GWR headquarters and her experience. She received warm handshake and hugs as she chatted excitedly with staff, who seemed pleased to have her physically at the office.
Hilda became a world record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual after cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes in May 2023.
