Who is Kerry Washington's father?

In an interview with Good Morning America, the Scandal actress disclosed that while wrapping up a film shoot in 2018, she received a text from her parents asking to talk to her urgently.

"The text was we need to talk to you. We are not a family that has serious regular talks and family meetings kind of stuff. So already my speedy sense was like something is up. I texted my husband and I said I need to go meet up with my parents and when I got there, my dad was sitting and my mum was smiling at me and. I went and sat down with them and they told me that my dad, is not my biological father. That I was born from a sp*rm donor. And I was shocked," she said.
