Canadian rapper Drake has surprised a fan with a N37 million gift.
This was after the fan revealed that he had used his furniture money to attend two of Drake’s concerts, The Guardian reports.
The incident occurred during Drake’s concert in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Why did Drake gift fan?
The fan, who has not been identified, held up a sign that read:

"Drake, I spent my furniture money on your two shows.”
The rapper saw the sign and stopped the show to address the fan.
“You know what my man? Your furniture money. I will give you $50,000 (N37 million) because I love you,” Drake said.
Drake added:
“I am trying to teach you something tonight. I want you to understand something. You never know what the next person is going through.”
Drake feeds people on his birthday
Notably, Drake has been giving away gifts to his fans. While celebrating his 36th birthday on Monday, October 24, 2022, the rapper blessed people from his hometown of Toronto with free chicken.
He had teamed up with a popular restaurant, Dave's Hot Chicken. The restaurant revealed the news on Instagram.
According to CP24, the participants who followed the chicken outlet on Instagram were also given one free slider or tender.
Drake wins N1.2bn bet
Previously, the rapper cashed in a N1.2b bet after Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira at UFC 287.
Adesanya's convincing knockout win was enough statement of his focus to reclaim the middleweight title.
The New Zealand-Nigerian fighter had lost his title belt to arch-nemesis Pereira in the octagon ring.
