The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) confirmed the development, stating that the search warrant was served on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac murder investigation.

However, no information regarding the nature of the search or whether it was conducted on a residential property or a business establishment was provided.

According to New York Post, law enforcement took a significant step forward in the long-standing investigation into the unsolved murder and executed a search warrant on a home in Henderson, Nevada.

“LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada, on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur investigation,” said police spokesperson Aden Ocampo Gomez.

Shakur was tragically hurt in a late-night drive-by shooting in the Las Vegas Valley while he and Suge were in a BMW at a red light at the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.

The All Eyez on Me rapper and Suge were rushed to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in critical condition.

Shakur, aged 25, died on September 13, 1996, while in the hospital in what was ruled as a cardiac arrest. He was 25 years old.
