  • A Ugandan man identified as Simon has passionately appealed to veteran actor Pete Edochie to look in his direction
  • According to Simon, his mother was in Nigeria back in 1984 and she returned to her country pregnant but was never able to show him his dad before she passed

Nigerians on social media woke up to a trending video of a Ugandan man claiming to be the biological son of legendary movie star, Pete Edochie.

The individual who introduced himself as Simon explained how his mother had visited Nigeria and worked as a maid in 1984.

According to him, she eventually returned to Uganda but she was pregnant at the time.

Simon said he was never able to meet his biological father before his mother left the world.

He, however, added that a lot of people have approached him saying that he shares a strong resemblance with the respected thespian.

Simon proceeded to passionately appeal to Edochie to come forward if he is truly his biological father.

“If you are there and you know you are my father, please come for your son. I’m struggling, life is not good in Kampala, Uganda.”

Actor Yul Edochie celebrates father's birthday

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that actor Yul Edochie brought a sparkle of joy to his people as he marked his father, Pete Edochie's birthday.

The screen whiz took to social media to share a video of himself along with his dad that spoke of the struggles and hope of the people.

Yul went on to give his beloved father his due honours on his birthday, and netizens joined in the celebration.
