Theatre artist, Chinazo, has described to Nigerians what happened to her sister's new currency note after it was forgotten in a pocket and washed.
The artist took to her Twitter handle, Fluffy_Naz, to explain the ordeal. In her tweet, she said her sister forgot the new naira note in the pocket of the clothes she washed, only for them to later see that the new currency had turned to white paper.

"So my sister forgot the new currency in her pocket and washed it, this is what it turned out to! If rain drenches you and this money is your only hope, you'd be stranded!"

Tunde Ednut, other celebrities react to the new naira notes
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that popular celebrities in the entertainment industry have reacted to the newly introduced currency by the federal government.
This came after President Muhammadu Buhari made the new naira notes, which included N1000, N500, and N200 public on Wednesday, November 23.
In a post shared by popular blogger Tunde Ednut on his Instagram page, he asked his followers about the difference between the old and new notes.
