Taraji P. Henson looking for soft life in new country

The Acrimony actress said since she turned 50, she no longer cares about anything other than protecting her peace and living an easy life.

According to People Magazine, the 51-year-old award-winning actress said she has no energy to keep fighting for the same issues in the US over and over again.

"I'm really considering getting up out of here, leaving and living in another country. That's something that comes with 50, you get tired of fighting. I'm tired. I just don't want to have to do another hashtag, I fought, I chanted, I marched. I'm tired," she said.

According to the well-established actress, she is yet to pick a specific place where she wants to live but she desires to go where there's neutral ground.

"I want to just be. And be happy. I want to be called 'Bella' every day, drink wine and swat flies on the porch. Stress-free," she added.

She credited turning 50 to making her have this new kind of thinking because it's helped her prioritise herself more.

"I've accomplished a lot and I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm at the point now where if I say, 'I quit, I'm going to go travel the world,' I can. It's so freeing," she further said.

Taraji says she struggles with depression

In a different news story, the award-winning Hollywood actress opened up about her struggle with depression and anxiety that has affected her for some years.

The beautiful actress stated that being in the Hollywood space, there was pressure on her to be strong.

Taraji said she began to feel awkward in her own skin and was always down which made her seek a way out to deal with her mental issues.
