Chris Brown’s Fans Demand Apology After Leaked Texts Suggest Victim Allegedly Lied About Assault Claims

Chris Brown's name is trending on social media after text messages between the superstar and the woman who accused him of unconsented intimacy in 2020 surfaced online.

According to the leaked texts, the woman continued to text the singer after the alleged incident took place on a yacht docked outside Diddy's home late in December 2020.

She filed her alleged $20 million (N10 billion) claim in Los Angeles Superior Court more than a year after the alleged drugging and assault took place. Radar Online reports that the texts also reveal that the woman, known as Jane Doe, tried to hook up with Breezy at least four times but he ignored her.

In one of the texts she sent Chris almost nine months after the Miami incident, she said:

"Missing u [sic]... U [sic] were honestly the best ---- I’ve had lol I just want it again. Why are you playing with meee [sic] lol."

Peeps have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the leaked messages. Many agreed that those who slammed Chris when the woman accused him need to apologise to him.
