Lesson Learnt: Jubilations As Nigerian Navy Reportedly Frees Comedian Cute Abiola From Detention

The Nigerian Navy has reportedly set online Comedian, Abdulgafar Ahmad, better known as Cute Abiola free from detention, The Punch reports.

Naval spokesman, Commodore Suleman Dahun, confirmed the comedian's release on Friday, December 3, 2021, in Lagos.

Cute Abiola was declared missing on Monday, November 15, 2021, when one of his colleagues Mr Macaroni, raised the alarm.

Meanwhile, Cute Abiola only reported at his office in Navy Town, Lagos, that same day.

The Naval spokesperson then shed more light on the missing report two days after. He said Cute Abiola was detained for contravening the military laws by posting a video of himself in military uniform on social media.

Dahun has now declared that the funnyman is no longer in the naval detention as he has been released to serve his punishment.

Cute Abiola's last chat with friends before getting detained by Nigerian Navy

Legit.ng earlier reported that more details emerged about the 'disappearance' of Cute Abiola who is said to be in the custody of the Nigerian Navy.

The comedian's last WhatsApp chat with a friend made rounds on social media where he gave an insight into his present situation in the hands of his colleagues.

In the chat, the online comedian confided in his friend that he could not talk at the moment because he was on a 'hot seat'.

Nigerians reacted to the chat and most of them called for his release from detention.
