Wizkid Is a Brand: Nigerian Man Boasts After Making Almost N55 Million From Reselling Concert Tickets

Top Nigerian music star, Wizkid’s Made In Lagos concert that was recently held at the O2 Arena in London has no doubt made a great number of people happy.

Many internet users have continued to gush over their experience at the concert and a UK-based businessman, Toba Abiodun, was one of those who made cool bucks from the event.

Taking to his Snapchat page, Toba flaunted a bag filled with bundles of pound notes and explained that he made close to 100 grand (N55 million), from reselling Wizkid’s tickets.

People would go to any length for Wizkid

Toba went ahead to note his love for Wizkid and said the Nigerian music star is a huge brand that doesn’t have to force his value on people.

In his words:

“Wizkid is a fxcking brand. The value of your brand, you don’t have to force it on people, people will set it themselves. I sold tickets to some people for a thousand pounds and they didn’t even turn up or stress me the next day.”

Speaking further, Toba added that the value of Wizkid at the moment is such that people would go to any length for him.

The young man also said the cost of Beyonce, Drake and Madonna tickets all put together was not up to the amount Wizkid tickets were sold.

Wizkid suspended in the air as he makes spectacular entrance

Wizkid shook London to the core on Sunday, November 28, as he kicked off the first leg of his Made in Lagos (MIL) concert in the country.

The singer who has been on tour over the past few weeks took things to an entirely different level at his sold-out show which went down at the popular O2 Arena.

Activities for the night fully kicked off when the Ojuelegba crooner made a grand and dramatic entrance in the fully packed arena.
