• Nigerian singer Simi took to her social media page to ask parents some questions on flogging their children
• The mother of one wanted to know if beating a child helps them adjust their behaviour because they see they are wrong
• Simi also asked if parents have tried every other thing instead of spanking their kids at every given mistake

Singer Simi recently admitted that parenting is hard, adding that every parent needs training on how to raise wholesome children.

Simi said this while reacting to a post complaining about how Africans raise their kids with violence. The singer wanted to know why beating a child is correction while doing the same to an adult means physical abuse.

Noting that raising a child takes patience, the Ire crooner also added that kids will test it. Sadly, she noted that some caregivers and parents beat their kids out of anger every time they make mistakes.

Simi then asked parents who easily beat their kids if they have tried other ways or they have not mastered their self-control.

I don't want her to feel pressured

Singer Simi shared her take on what she would feel if her daughter decides to do music.

According to the Duduke star, she would be in full support of whatever career her child chooses but she admitted that a part of her would also feel anxious if she also becomes a musician.

Explaining further, Simi said that was because of the pressure that she might face due to having two musician parents.
