Popular Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, has spoken against people who go on social media to display their wealth.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, October 6, she said that such an act is a stark sign of low self-esteem, adding that material acquisition is “nothing but vanity”.

It's foolishness

She said that all those things that are being flaunted will soon be devoured by moth and rust. She added that such a show of wealth is a sign of foolishness.

A part of her post read:

“Have you not seen/heard of the recently collapsed building in Lagos State and seizures of peoples property c*m freezing of their accounts). Foolish people always land in the grave that they dug with their mouth.”

The actress also quoted bible verses like Ecclesiastes 4:13, Esther 6:1-14, 7:1-10 to buttress her point.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Nollywood actress Anunobi did a morning prayer meeting on her Instagram page about alcohol lovers. According to her, drunkards will never make heaven as it is against the word of God.

The actress noted that drunkards damage their livers and then ask people to raise money for them for treatment. According to her, taking alcohol cannot make a person prosper.

She said:

"... You'll fall and be talking anyhow. You'll see alcohol, you will drink it and want to finish it. Then when you damage your liver, then you will come and say we should raise funds for you. Meanwhile, you are the one that used your hand to carry the bottle of brandy, beer or henessy. God said drunkards, revilers, extortioners shall never enter into the kingdom of God."
