Nigeria's anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is no respecter of public figures or celebrities. They have in the last couple of years made quite a remarkable amount of high profile arrests and invites.

No Nigerian wants to be a victim of the EFCC because of the level of image dents they do to their numerous preys.
Over the years, the anti-graft agency has spread its tentacles to the showbiz and entertainment sector with a number of headline-making arrests and invites of celebrities.
From musicians to celebrity socialites, to comedians, the EFCC has definitely shown it is not here to joke with anyone no matter their social status.

1. Obi Cubana
Popular businessman and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu a.k.a Obi Cubana was invited by the EFCC for questioning on Monday, November 1, 2021.
The nightlife entrepreneur was grilled over alleged money laundering and tax fraud by the Wuse Zone 6 office of the EFCC, it was reported that he has been invited by the agency about two weeks ago before showing up.
He received tons of support messages from Nigerian celebrities before he was released on bail.
2. Mompha
The EFCC arrested social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha a.k.a Mompha for allegedly laundering over N14 billion through a firm.
The former EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu, made the disclosure after Mompha and his accomplice were nabbed. He further revealed that the socialite operates 51 bank accounts in Nigeria.
3, 4. Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile
Music stars, Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and three others were arrested by the EFCC when their hit single, Am I a Yahoo Boy was released in 2019.
The controversial track landed the music stars in the agency's net, Zlatan and others were released after a few days but Naira Marley was released on bail.
Their arrest parade photo went viral.
5. Pankeeroy
Instagram comedian, Pankeeroy landed in trouble after he was arrested by the EFCC.
The skit maker was picked up on April 21, 2021, for alleged involvement in internet fraud.
Pankeeroy had already presented himself as a Bitcoin trader and defrauded victims in the process.
