Best Artist in UAR: Sanwo-Olu Excited As He Finally Receives His Funny-Looking Portrait From Artist

Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has finally received his funny-looking portrait by a comic artist, Osinowo Taiwo known as Bodataiye Oniyakuya.

The governor had reacted to the artist's drawing of him on social media and asked him to come to his office to present the portrait.

A few hours ago, Sanwo-Olu took to his Instagram page to share photos of the moment he received his portrait from Bodataiye Oniyakuya during an event at the governor's office.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu receives his portrait

In the photos online, the governor was spotted dressed in brown khaki trousers, a green shirt and beret to match with a small yellow scarf around his neck.

Sanwo-Olu had a big smile on his face as he showed off the portrait to the people who sat before him. The artist was also spotted in the photos and he also seemed to be excited at the governor''s reaction to his drawing.

In the caption that accompanied the photos, Sanwo-Olu said

“The best artist in UAR” came to present his drawing to me. I honestly can’t lay claim to the person in the frame, but I lay claim to the fact that we will continue to support and encourage our talented youths in Lagos state. We are also adding fashion and entertainment to our school curriculum. P.S. He wasn’t arrested."

Sanwo-Olu meets actor Jim Iyke

Jim Iyke was one of those present as Babajide Sanwo-Olu launched the Lagos Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Youth Alliance and the governor seemed taken aback by the actor’s presence.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the governor went round greeting those present at the event and was surprised to see that Jim Iyke was one of them.

In reaction, Sanwo-Olu stepped back with surprise before shaking his finger at the actor and calling him a bad guy. Others present at the event also laughed at the governor’s reaction.
