Nile University of Nigeria holds its First Annual TEDx event
Partners, students, and stakeholders recently gathered at the Conference Hall of Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, for the first annual edition of TEDx Nile University of Nigeria.

The event, themed ‘Impact’, showcased life-changing sessions and ideas geared at positively impacting participants.
TEDx Nile University of Nigeria was headlined by notable individuals such as Nigerian Musician and Entrepreneur Dare Art Alade, Partner at PwC, Rukaiya El-Rufai, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Nile University of Nigeria, Prof. Dr Dileep Kumar M., Founder and CEO of Chekkit, Dare Odumade, Head, ACCA Nigeria, Tom Isibor, Founder, Chess in Slums Africa, Tunde Onakoya and Director of Employability, Honoris Group, Tunisia., Sonia Ben El Kahla.
The event, hosted by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub Manager of Nile University, Mrs Binta Gali Agbonika, featured a dance performance by the Nile theatre and art club, a spoken word performance by Jawahir Kamillu, a Playlet by Nile theatre and art club, a Saxophone performance by Lasisi Diekololaoluwa and award presentations.
The high point of the event was the presentation by Musician and Entrepreneur Dare Art Alade titled: How to make a trillion dollars (even though I don’t know where to go). The exciting presentation delivered with songs, storytelling, case studies, and practical examples left the audience asking for more.
Group CEO of Honoris United Universities, Dr Jonathan Louw, who also delivered an address at the event, said, "Our focus is to give you the tools and platform to excel at Nile University.
