JAMB 2022: How to Buy Your e-PIN on Quickteller Platform
Many prospective candidates of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are yet to begin the registration process that will allow them to get their e-PINs due to various reasons, one of which is the process involved. However, a quicker and more convenient way is available to these candidates.
To ensure that candidates do not get lost in the hassle of registration and e-PIN procurement, Quickteller, the leading consumer digital payments platform, powered by Interswitch, has created an avenue for these candidates to register and get their e-PINs with ease.
Candidates can get registered and get their e-PINs from the Quickteller platform, both mobile and web, among other Interswitch-backed platforms. Here are a few short and simple steps to follow to procure your JAMB e-PIN as a prospective candidate.
First step: Obtain your National Identification Number (NIN), if you have not done so, as it is mandated by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), the organisers of the UTME, as a prerequisite.
Second step: If you already have your NIN handy, then this is the next step to follow. You will be required to send an SMS to a dedicated number that will provide you with the next steps in the process.
Here is how you will send the message: text ‘NIN 00123456789’ (your 11-digit NIN) to ‘55019’.
Third step: After sending the message, you will receive a notification with your 10-digit profile code that will also display the name used to register the NIN, for confirmation.
Fourth step: In this step, you will need to visit www.quickteller.com/jamb2022pinvending to purchase your JAMB e-PIN. The 10-digit code you received earlier will come in handy here because that is what you will use to get your e-PIN.
Fifth step: Your e-PIN will be sent to the registered phone number.
All of these can be done from the comfort of your home, without the need to visit any physical location to procure your JAMB e-PIN. Note also that you are eligible for tutorials to get you prepared to sit for the exams. All the best.
