That’s my bank - VP Osinbajo Showers Accolades on Fidelity Bank

The 14th edition of the LEADERSHIP Annual Conferences and Awards ended on a high note for attendees, especially Fidelity Bank, as the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has given a resounding endorsement of the bank.

Osinbajo, who was the chairman of the occasion, gave the endorsement while delivering his keynote address to dignitaries from Nigeria, Kenya and other African countries.

The Vice President hinted that he has a bank account with Fidelity Bank, describing them as “my bank”.

“Of course, I mentioned Fidelity Bank first because that’s my bank!” The Vice President stated during the speech.

He also acknowledged the bank’s chief executive officer (CEO), Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, who was equally present at the event. Other notable people present at the event include Kenyan politician, Raila Odinga, and the chairman of LEADERSHIP Group, Zainab Nda-Isaiah.

Meanwhile, it is not commonplace for influential individuals like the VP to openly endorse and associate with a commercial bank. But, over the years, Fidelity Bank has proven to be a bank worth its salt with its almost perfect reputation amongst its customers and stakeholders in the banking industry.

In the last few weeks, in compliance with the CBN January 31, 2023, deadline for swapping old Naira notes for newly designed notes, Fidelity Bank has taken extra efforts to make it easier for their customers to get the new notes both at their branches and all their ATM galleries.

The bank is also acclaimed for its reliable and swift service delivery to corporate and individual customers, therefore, this open and proud association with the bank, from the VP has been long overdue.
