The two-day event featured Mara Sottocorola, an Italian musician supporting charities in Africa through her music.

Speaking to Legit.ng, organiser of the event, Latiwa Amato said her aim is to reach out to the less priviledged as all proceedings from the event will be donated to charity:

"I am giving back to charity. As a humanitarian I want to encourage women to give back and remain independent at the same time. I believe collectively it can be done.

"The fashion event is aimed at helping people and to also empower women globally. As you can see, members of an orphanage home visited came to the event. They will also be one of the beneficiaries of the event."
