See Kingsley Kuku’s multi-billion naira building in Ondo
Kingsley Kuku, the former adviser to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, is the owner of a multi-billion naira building in Akure, Ondo state.
Kuku, who is currently outside of the country for medical treatment, may soon be arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for embezzling public funds.
The co-coordinator of the presidential amnesty programme had earlier filed a suit to stop his investigation or arrest by the anti-graft agency. However, on February 17, the trial judge, Okon Abang, noted that the EFCC is statutorily empowered to investigate him over alleged fraud during his time in government.
The judge added that if Kuku refuses to honour the EFCC’s invitation, the comission has the right to arrest him, noting that the present troubles of the ex-special adviser in Jonathan's administration have nothing to do with his political affiliation.
Sahara Reporters obtained photos of Kuku's multi-billion naira building:
Earlier this year, officials of the EFCC seized houses and other properties worth N5bn belonging to the former chief of air staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu (retd.), and other senior military officers.
