With the 2015 general elections were first scheduled for February 14, 2015, numerous different hashtags were trending during the election period.

One of the most popular hashtag that appeared exactly one year ago was #Februhari.

One year passed and it again trended on social media and a lot people got behind him strongly.

Nigeria’s electoral commission delayed the presidential election by six weeks in order for the military to launch an operation to secure the northeast from Boko Haram.

Muhammadu Buhari won the election and become the first opposition candidate to win a presidential poll in Nigeria.

He was inaugurated as Nigerian president on May 29 and many things had changed in Buhari’s life.
