Trailer Crushes Pregnant Woman, Husband To Death

Tragedy struck in Delta state, yesterday, August 6, after a trailer crushed a pregnant woman and her husband to death along Sapele/Agbor road between Umutu/Urhonigbe axis of the State. Apparently the driver of the trailer carrying a full load of cement numbering over 1,000 bags was said to have fallen asleep while the trailer was at a very high speed. On discovering what had happened, he had lost control of the trailer which led to killing the family on the spot. The victims were returning from a journey they embarked upon with their motor cycle when the trailer loaded with cement bags with Reg No GWW68AX lost control after veering out of his way to crash on the husband and wife who were coming back from a journey heading towards Ebedie, their hometown, according to Leadership reports.
