We’ll Make Governance A Worthwhile Venture – Omisore

Ahead of the August 9 Osun state election, the PDP candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has promised to make governance a worthwhile venture in order to make the hub of business activity in the south west.

The gubernatorial candidate spoke through his running mate, Hon. Adejare Bello, who represented him when a socio-cultural Group known as “Better Leadership Awareness Group”, with membership spread across the state organised an Award Night, tagged “Adire Nite” to honor and mobilise support for the candidature of Otunba Iyiola Omisore at Brymo Hotel, Ilobu Road Osogbo on Sunday.

It would be recalled that on July 4, Senator Iyiola Omisore, had promised the people of the state that if they vote for him in the forthcoming governorship election on August 9, he will ensure the peaceful co-existence between Christians and Muslims without any discrimination.

Meanwhile, on July 2, 2014, Senator Omisore said he is assured that the support his enjoying from the people would enable him defeat Governor Aregbesola.

While urging the people of Osun state to troop out en masse to vote for the PDP during the election, that his victory at the poll would signal a new era for the state, saying: “We are your people and not strangers who have invaded Osun and squandered our hard earned resources without recourse to the economic growth of our dear state and individual empowerment of our people”.
