Former Bayelsa Governor's Uncle Kidnapped

Bayelsa State governor, Mr. Timipre Sylva's uncle, Pa Benson Adigio-Eseni, an octogenarian, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

According to the Nation, the Octogenarian was taken by 2am on yesterday, July 27, 2014, Sunday, from his home in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area of the state.

According to a source who witnessed the abduction, said the unknown gunmen rode in with a speedboat and shooting sporadically before taking their victim.

Then they later fled into creeks along the way with the elderly uncle.

One relative to the former governor's family said: “It’s true, he (Adigio-Eseni) was kidnapped last night at about 2am.”
