Jonathan Calls Buhari To Express Sympathy Over Late Bomb Attack
Reacting to the twin bomb explosion which hit Kaduna state on Wednesday, July 23, which was reportedly targeted a Former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), and an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, and claimed dozens of lives, President Goodluck Jonathan has allegedly called General Muhammadu Buhari to express his sympathy.
As Nigerian Tribune (referring to anonymous sources) reports that President Goodluck Jonathan allegedly called General Muhammadu Buhari, to commiserate with him over the presumable assassination and reassure that he concerned about his safety as well as that of any other Nigerian.

“The president was really touched at the mishap in Kaduna, especially that it nearly hit a former head of state, General Buhari. He personally put a call through to the General after breaking his fast on Wednesday, to express gratitude to God for sparing Buhari’s life,” the source said.

The call, which was made late on Wednesday and lasted about 10 minutes, ended with the two leaders ready to cooperate in fight against terror and bringing peace and security to the country. The source also claimed that Jonathan promised to bring the perpetrators of the late attack to justice.
