Kwankwaso Attacks President Goodluck Jonathan
Kano State Governor, Rabio Musa Kwankwaso, on Monday verbally attacked President Goodluck Jonathan, alleging that the president has failed to provide security for lives and property of the citizens.
Speaking with Vanguard, Kwankwaso, who is seemingly preparing the ground for formal declaration of his presidential ambition, assured that Jonathan will not win election in any of the 19 northern states if a free and fair election was conducted in 2015.

The governor also condemned the Jonathan-led administration for making innocent Nigerians flee the country and take refuge in neighbouring countries.
“I have not taken the time to go to the South to study what is happening, but I had time to study the North. In the 19 states, I don’t see any state where under free and fair election; people will go and vote for the status quo. The status quo is not good for anybody because they have failed to provide the basic services to justify why the people voted for this government,” Kwankwaso said.
The governor further blamed the increased insecurity currently bedeviling the nation on the negligence of the Jonathan-led administration. He said the Jonathan-led administration allowed insurgency to flourish in the country to the extent that the extremist is attempting to now create a state within Nigeria while the government stand by and watch.

Meanwhile, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is a chieftain of the widely known opposition party the All Progressives Congress, APC, had on July 20, 2014 revealed that the party will make sure that President Goodluck Jonathan doesn't win the 2015 presidential election the same way Malawi former president Joyce Banda lost to Peter Mutharika in May.
However, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, Governor, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, had assured President Goodluck Jonathan that the party’s governors are solidly behind him if he intends to seek re-election in 2015.
