Gov. Aregbesola Lauds His Administration
The Osun State Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has expressed his surprise at the success of his administration since his tenure started almost four years ago.
Expressing his happiness over the support of the locals for making the process of remarkable transformation possible, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola promised the locals more life-changing transformations in the state come 2015.
ThisDay reports that the former activist, who assumed his present office on November 27, 2010, recounted how many of the market women in the state did not like the idea of moving from their old site to a new site, which has been especially built for them.

The old site, which is part of the railway line, has been renovated into a beautiful place and named Nelson Mandela Freedom Park. Many of the market women, who were unhappy to leave for the new site, are now praising the governor because of the engineered new look.
According to the governor, his administration has made provisions to many who were displaced one way or the other by the ongoing transformation in the state. Aregbesola, however, disclosed that his administration has provided parcel of lands and even money for those who are in this category.
However, the state Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Muyiwa Ige, explained to the locals of the state that there is no transformation without sacrifice. Ige, who appreciated the cooperation of the market women, revealed the other plans of the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola's led administration that are still in embryo, which will be beneficial to both young and old in the state.
It could be recalled that just recently, PDP's candidate at the Osun State gubernatorial elections, Senator Iyiola Omisore, admitted being afraid of facing Governor Rauf Aregbesola in a public debate because the governor could physically hurt him.
