National Security Council Meeting at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja on July 21, 2014, Monday

The security chief came out and told reporters that his men already know where the Chibok girls are, but are trying to not risk their lives.

Mr Ekpeyoung said: "The issue of the Chibok girls, government is making efforts. We know where they are but we don't want to endanger their lives, that is the truth.

"We want to take it gradually and release them at the appropriate time. We know where they are," he said.

He also said that the FG has ordered all state government to start registration of non-indigenes in their area and told military officers not to work with states that may want to go ahead with the process.

Over ninety days since young school girls were abducted from their school; Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, North-eastern Nigeria on April 14 2014, no success has been glaring on efforts to rescue the girls despite global outrage and promises by foreign governments, including global powers such as the United States, to get the girls out of captivity.
