War Against Boko Haram Taking Too Long - Former Minister Of Defence, Danjuma
Former Nigeria Chief of Staff, General Theophilius Danjuma (rtd), on Wednesday urged President Jonathan to put an end to terrorism as the fight against terrorism was taking too long and terrorists are having upper edge.

Danjuma, a former minister of Defence, made this known while speaking during the inauguration of Boko Haram Victims’ Support Fund Committee Fund inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa Abuja in the morning of July 16, 2014.
Danjuma who is also the chairman of the committe said: “We must win this war. Mr President, we must win this war”.
Reacting to President Jonathan's comment about members of the committee being ready to visit all parts of the country, including Sambisa Forest which is considered to be the hideout of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, the retired general said:
“Mr. President, we won’t go to Sambisa Forest. As the Commander-in-Chief, you should take the lead and we will follow.
Danjuma added as he assured that the committe will will carry out its terms of assignment regardless.
