Senate Confirms Chidoka, Suleiman As Ministers
The Senate on July 16, 2014, Wednesday, confirmed the candidacies of two ministers directed by President Goodluck Jonathan for screening last week.

According to the information made available by African Spotlight, the Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Benjamin Osita Chidoka, and the University of Abuja lecturer Dr. Abubakar Olanrewaju Suleiman have been appointed the ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Chidoka is to replace the sacked Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, involved in a widely publicized scandal regarding the alleged illegal purchase of bulletproof cars worth N255 million.
This comes a week after Jonathan swore in 4 office newcomers, with Kano State ex-governor Ibrahim Shekarau having been appointed the Education Minister.
