PDP Expels 6 Top Leaders
The Peoples Democratic Party has ejected six top leaders, who are said to be the insiders for the opposing and ruling All Progressives Congress in Osun State.
The six top leaders, who were accused of being the eyes of the opposing party, were expelled from the PDP due to the joint decision of the party members to ensure proper discipline in the party and also safeguarding opinions and every decision.
According to Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, who is the State Chapter Chairman of the party, the suspension has been agreed on during a meeting at the party's secretariat.
Some of the ejected members were the State Deputy Chairman, Dr. B.T Salam, State Secretary, Major Raphael Tewogbola, former State Secretary, Chief Yinka Adeojo, former Chairman of Osogbo Local Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaiye, former Personal Assistant to former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Alhaji Razaq Oyelami and Alhaji Rasaq Oyetunji.
The positions that were held by the defunct members have been allocated to some faithful members of the group who "truly deserved it", according to the group. The expelled members were left out with their deceit.

It is worthy to note that some of the six ejected members have political affiliation with the former Governor of the State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola. While the ejected members were alleged to have attended meetings with many APC leaders in their various Local Government Areas and also alleged to have followed Fatai Akinbade to the Labour Party, one of the ejected members, Tewobola has proclaimed his unchanging patriotism and loyalty to the PDP. He emphasised that his expulsion was null, void and of no effect.
It could be recalled that ahead of August 9 governorship election in Osun, Governor Aregbesola has challenged PDP candidate, Omisore to a public debate.
