2-Yr-Old Kidnapped Baby Found At Lagos Airport
A 2-year-old girl, who was whisked away from her parents' home in Lagos 5 days ago, has been discovered at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
According to PM News report, the police was unable to clarify how exactly the victim, Mercy Osunbawo, appeared at the airport.
Father of the girl, stolen last Friday, July 4, and found on Wednesday, confirmed the information and expressed his gratitude to God for bringing back their child.
He however confessed to being still shocked over the incident, as on the fateful day of the kidnap little Mercy was sleeping in between him and his wife on the same bed. When they woke up, the baby was already missing.
The parents had searched her everywhere to find that the front door had been forced open. After which they immediately raised the alarm.
The kidnappers also stole mobile phones and money from the house. When the child's parents tried to contact the kidnappers for negotiations by calling to one of their own phones, the criminals picked but refused to answer.
It is now being reported that Mercy has been successfully reunited with her family.
