Nigerian Songstress, Tiwa Savage, BET Awards Dress Causes Stir

Female songstress, Tiwa Savage, who has been in the news a lot lately, has been criticized yet again for the outfit she wore to the just concluded BET Awards which held in July, Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles.

Tiwa, who was nominated in the ‘Best International Act’ category, stepped out in a navy blue dress with a completely sheer upper body and finished off her look with gold ear-rings, a gold embellished clutch and let her hair down but she was however criticized by some of her fans and fashion enthusiasts for wearing the revealing outfit.

The Eminado crooner who was recently accused of descending on a member of staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company for being “rude” to her was also criticized by her fans when she released her music video 'Wanted' in May.

Davido ended up winning the award for Best International Act, Africa 2014.

Meanwhile, Tiwa has been nominated alongside Flavour in the 'Artiste of the Year' category at the 2014 edition of the Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA) has been which will hold on Saturday, 13th September, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California.
