Popular Nigerian artiste, Davido has once again proved why he is one of the highest earners in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

This time, the 21-year-old award winning singer has been photographed wearing a 24-carat gold-plated headphones.

According to a post on Dele Momodu's ovation international official Instagram account, the 24-carat gold-plated headphones was specially customized for the Aye crooner.

Commenting on the expensive asset, Dele Momodu said: "The current rave of African Music DAVIDO is seen here wearing a 24-carat gold-plated headphones; he's hardworking and blessed!"

Meanwhile, the 24-carat gold-plated headphones put on by Davido is already receiving mixed reactions from some of his fans.

While some of them are of the opinion that the musician could have used the money to better the lives of the poor people in Nigeria, others say he works hard for his money hence he should be the one to decide how to spend it.

Also, some critics believe fortune smiled on Davido on the strength of the financial muscle of his father, unarguably, Davido has also worked his socks off.

With his musical abilities, doggedness and ingenuity, he has worked his way to the top not only in Nigeria but also on the African continent.

Few weeks ago, Davido won double MTV awards.

No wonder he has been recently ranked 5th among highest paid in Nigerian music industry.

According to the ranking, apart from managing his own HKN label, the Aye crooner was said to pocket nothing less than N3 million per show.
