PHOTOS: Charly Boy Causes Stare In Church During Father's Funeral Service
Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy is no stranger to controversy but he however, shocked his fans with his dramatic presence during his late father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa's funeral service.
According to lailas blog, the Area Fada, as he is also called, was pictured in a grey attire, looking like an Indian priest with two ladies dressed in red and wearing coloured hair standing behind him in the church Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oguta, Imo Statewhere his late father's memorial service took place.
Charly Boy who lost his father Justice Chukwudifu Oputa on May 4, 2014 had warned politicians about his father's burial that his death should not be used for politics as he was prepared to embarrass any politician who tries to hijack the burial plans.
And true to his word aside storming out of his father's Lying-In-State in Imo state on June 25, he publicly embarrassed the Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha by reportedly snatching the microphone from the governor’s hands, when he was paying tribute to the late judge at the Sacred heart catholic church, Oguta over what was described as 'cheap political' goals and an alleged 20 million naira given to the Oputa family for the burial, according to Leadership.

The Nigerian musician, performer, Charly boy who is in his early 60's doesn't joke with his family. He is happily married to Lady Diane and blessed with kids, four daughters and grand-children.
