Three Killed, Scores Injured In Wase LGA Of Plateau
A ghastly attack claimed lives of three people while several others were badly injured in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State on Saturday, June 28.
It was gathered that crisis in Wase Local Government Area was provoked by leadership tussle between Jat community and Kumbwan community which resulted in killings and property worth millions stolen or damaged with scores of people presently homeless and taking refuge in different locations.

The attack left women and children in critical condition while some were rushed to Langtang General Hospital. At the last count more than 300 houses were destroyed by the heavily armed Kadarko youths. Leadership also reports about the primary school headmaster Ramson Nimmyel who was supposedly murdered by armed men at about 7.30pm.

The information about the attack was confirmed by the Chairman of Gwan Ishi Otaroh, Wase branch, Jangle Nanbut, who said that there was heavy fighting between the Tarok, who settled in Gwantim, and the Tarok in Kadarko town over the ward head.
