123 Feared Dead Over The Last Few Days In Kaduna Massacre
The death toll of Kaduna genocide hit 123 people by June 24, 2014, Tueaday. Numerous gunmen, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have slaughtered residents in seven villages of Sanga Local Government Area, ThisDay reports.
A vigilante leader in Gwantu, Christopher Chisom, confirmed that the biggest number of deaths was registered in Kobin, 38. Other affected settlements include Dogon-Daji (21), Naidu (16), Kabamu (30), Hayin Kwanta (5), Kabani (4) and Gani (9).

Despite the police sources have not issued an official confirmation to these numbers, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State chapter, issued similar number of deaths, which equals to 100 people.
CAN made this confirmation during a press briefing on June 25, 2014, Wednesday, added that three suspected attackers were seized, three AK47 rifles and 158 rounds of ammunition were recovered.

The CAN’s, Rev. Sunday Ibrahim, the Secretary of the association in Kaduna State, made these revelations on behalf of CAN.
CAN urged the residents of the state to “learn to respect the sanctity of human lives,” because “no religion preaches murder of any person”.
Rev. Sunday Ibrahim added that despite arrested terrorists were Fulani by tribe, the decent Fulanis would never conduct merciless killings of innocent people.
It would be added that a 24-hour curfew has been imposed in Sanga local government Chairman, Emmanuel Adamau, in response to the carnage.
