WORLD CUP: Nigeria-Scotland Friendly Ends In Draw

The first friendly match played by the Super Eagles against Scotland in London ended with the score 2-2.

The score was opened by the opponents' Charlie Mulgrew already on the ninth minute of the game.

However, four minutes before half-time Michael Uchebo leveled with a strike that deflected off Grant Hanley.

Soon after the second half start, the own goal from the Azubuike Egquekwe restored prevalence of Stachan's men.

Nigeria was unable to even the score until the last minutes of the game, when substitute Uche Nwofor struck saving the Keshi's men spirit ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Super Eagles will have two more friendlies, with Greece and USA, before their Group F opener against Iran on June 16.
