Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky's Fate Is Still Unknown
The family of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky is still trying to make contact with the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna state on Sunday, December 13.
According to Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky's son, four days after a bloody clash in Zaria his family is still unaware of his whereabouts and current health status. Moreover, none of them have managed to speak to any officials who have had direct contact with him.

However, an unnamed military official called the family assuring that their patriarch is “safe and well”. The son claims he is the Mr. Zakzaky’s last remaining son as three his brothers were reportedly killed.
Earlier today the Nigerian army has released another photo of severely injuried Sheikh Zakzaky, which left the Shiite community traumatized.

The photo as well as other evidence raised concerns about the Nigerian military acting unlawfully as Mr. Zakzaky’s rights are not being preserved.
Mr Zakzaky's son also mentioned hearing disturbing reports of mass graves, which the Nigerian army are trying to hide after the massacre.
While the Shiite sect is insisting that no fewer than 800 bodies of its members were deposited at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria, authorities at the hospital have said only 60 bodies were brought to the morgue.
