JAMB Releases CBT UTME Results
The results of Saturday's Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Computer Based Test (CBT), conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) on Saturday has been released.
The result was released on online on Monday.
This was made known by the JAMB's Deputy Director, Outstation, Mr. Nobel Onukwue who advised candidates who partook in the test to go online and check for their result.
Mr. Buhari Aliyu, JAMB Biometric Operator, said that 332 candidates were screened for the first session, and 342 for the second session, as against the 350 expected candidates.
This is the first time JAMB would be conducting the CBT.
The CBT started on May 17, and would end on May 31.
The registrar of the board, Professor Dibu Ojerinde has advised everyone to embrace the newly introduced CBT method as it enables the candidates get their results quickly, reduce cost of conducting the examinations and eliminating malpractices.
Recall that those who opted for the Paper Pencil Test (PPT) and Dual Based Test (DBT) took their own test on the 12th of April, 2014 and their results have already been released.
